New Application to Serve FSM
Kitchen Brains, www.kitchenbrains.com, a provider of integrated, end-to-end, wireless M2M networking solutions and SaaS (software-as-a-service) applications for the commercial kitchen, is adding a new member to its collection of solutions for the food service industry.
The SCK FSM (Food Safety Manager) is a new cloud-based application which uses data from a number of different static and handheld sensors, including other data collection devices, to maintain HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control points) standards relating to operations involving food service or preparation.
According to Reza Khani, COO, Kitchen Brains, “With FSM you can wirelessly sense, collect, and record critical data points from both static wireless sensors and portable hand held devices related to your business 24/7.” Khani adds FSM will save on labor and paper, provide accurate and detailed data, and will forward alerts to any device when out of range.
By working FSM into the Kitchen Brains cloud-based dashboard, it will work along side Kitchen Brains Genius Suite Applications including SCK Quality Production Manager and SCK SetPoint manager. As a result, users can manage operations from a single platform.
The Genius Suite provides solutions connecting back to front of house restaurant systems with all facets of food production and facility management. The Kitchen Brains solutions are interoperable with POS (point-of-sale) and BOH (back-of-house) systems as well as platforms such as Xwire, Xwire Pro, Zigbee Pro, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, ZWave, www.z-wave.com, Bluetooth, and LonMark, www.lonmark.org, interfaces.
